
It's Restaurant Week in Minneapolis and we took full advantage of it last night. Our monthly restaurant outing brought us to The Oceanaire where we were able to have a three-course meal for $30 each. Immediately I was impressed because they matched my napkin to the color of my pants (black). Classy. And then, again impressed, when everyone we encountered knew I needed to eat gluten-free. They even talked about it during their pre-shift meeting!
JLO enjoyed the New England Clam Chowder as a starter while I ate the Caesar Salad. For entrees, JLO ate the Cornmeal Crusted Canadian Walleye while I relished in the Jumbo Shrimp with micro greens and a jalapeno/fruit salad. And what would be a three-course meal without dessert? JLO worked on a giant ice cream sandwich, while I delighted in the Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta with blueberries. We highly recommend!
